Bill Pollakov

Bill graduated from Northeastern Illinois University in 1972, and returned in 2014 to accept the "Most Distinguished Alumni" award and give the commencement speech for the class of 2014. Bill currently serves on the Northeastern Illinois Board of Directors.
Bill's organization, The Pollakov Financial Group Inc. is one of a kind, and has won numerous awards both from MassMutual and from the industry for outstanding performance including eing voted the "#1 Best Place to Work in San Diego" in 2014. Bill's individual achievements include: the “Founders Award” from Child Help International in 2008, was “Community Leader of the Year” for the city of Rancho Bernardo in 2008, was a finalist for the city of Poway “Man of the Year” in 2007, and was nominated for “Most Admired CEO in San Diego” in 2008 and 2011.
Bill is a sought after speaker, and has spoken all over the United States, Manila, Taiwan, Kuala Lampur, Singapore, Jamaica, and Canada, and has been recognized by the industry by being a 23 year National Management Award winner, an expert witness for industry legal issues, and a consultant for the Kellogg School of Management – Northwestern University Grad School.
Bill has used his 35 years of insurance industry experience and expertise to merge Duke Insurance Benefits, Developmental Insurance Agency, and SFG Insurance Benefits into Pollakov & Duke Health Insurance Services, Inc., where he currently serves as the President / CEO. He is also the President and Founder of Bikes for Kids Foundation, a charitable organization which has given away over 39,000 new bikes to underserved children.
Bill lives in Poway with his wife Debbie and has three children.
Teresa Dutton

Teresa Dutton has been a licensed insurance agent since 2003, and has been a small business owner in the insurance industry. At Pollakov & Duke, she has a multi-faceted role with responsibilities for both sales and ongoing account management / client service. Teresa is the primary contact for new business, and consults with each client to determine the optimal solution for their business. She is also a Covered California Certified Agent and assists our Individual Family Plan clients, both Covered CA and non-Covered CA, with understanding their plan and financial options at the time of original enrollment as well as providing annual updates. Once a policy has been issued, she can assist the individual or business client with renewals and service issues. Teresa is also certified to offer Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage, and Medicare Prescription Drug plans to those who are in their initial enrollment period, as well as those who may be thinking about changing their existing Medicare plan coverage. She is very detailed oriented and responsive and responds to your questions within 24 hours.
Teresa holds a BS degree from Syracuse University (NY) and a MS degree from the State University of New York- College at Buffalo. She lives in the Carmel Valley area of San Diego with her husband, Bill. She is a board member for the San Diego Syracuse University Alumni Group and an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma alumni group. She is a long-time parishioner of St James -St Leo Catholic Community in Solana Beach, serving as a eucharistic minister and a volunteer chef for parish events.

Ernie Longoria

Ernie Longoria has been a great addition to the Pollakov and Duke team for several years now.

Ernie has a variety of duties at Pollakov & Duke. His primary focus is to assist our business and individual clients with service issues, including employee additions, terminations and all other changes for group and individual plans. He also prepares quotes for our business and individual clients.

Marlene Miller

Marlene Miller has been in the insurance industry for 38 years and is one of the top health insurance brokers in San Diego County. She has served on the advisory board for both Kaiser and Anthem Blue Cross and is an expert on health care reform. She specializes in individual, family and group health, dental and vision plans, including Medicare plans. She consults, counsels and advises clients and potential clients as to the best plan for them based on plan benefits, rates and provider networks. Because of this personal touch, Marlene has been able to retain her clients through numerous industry and market changes, and enjoys a personal relationship with her clients.

Christine Estrada has been on the Pollakov & Duke team for 6 years. Christine overseas multiple aspects of Pollakov & Duke. Her specialty with individual coverage via Covered California. She not only specializes in individual coverage, but services Group Benefits. With her attention to detail, she is focused on servicing any client needs such as reinstating insurance, filing claims, service issues, terminations, etc. Beyond her duties as a Brokerage Director, she also assists Bill Pollakov in the daily administration of the company as a whole.
